My client is a local authority in the South West. Engineers in the Property Team are responsible for all aspects of building services in the multiplicity of buildings in the city, from Tudor houses to luxury apartment blocks to new public spaces. In addition to this they are responsible for driving forward sustainability in the city and identifying opportunities to shape policy concerning increasing the energy efficiency of all buildings.
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic graduate Engineer interested in commencing an exciting career in building services.
Based in a friendly and sociable team of experienced Engineers and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities centre around improving the performance and efficiency of buildings, including HVAC systems. Work is varied and you will be out and about, based onsite around 50% of the time. In depth, one-on-one training will be given and there are CPD opportunities including support towards CIBSE accreditation if you desire.
They are looking for someone technically minded with a real desire to build on the knowledge gained in your degree to increase efficiency and sustainability of the city's buildings.
Requirements:

-Any experience related to building services, especially using building management systems, would be an advantage
-You will be technically minded with excellent IT skills
-Enthusiasm for learning new skills and working alongside team members
-Passion for increasing sustainability and energy efficiency
