Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate with a background in Maths, Statistics, Medical Statistics, Health Economics, Public health or related for a position as a Research Analyst in Biostatistics.
The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of medical statistics. You will be trained to become an expert in Network Meta-analysis (also known as mixed- or multiple-treatment comparison). This is a ground breaking methodology that allows treatments to be compared based in the available network of direct and indirect trial evidence. Network meta-analysis and systematic reviews are increasingly used to inform clinical decision-making and are recognized internationally as tools for treatment comparison. Healthcare providers in the US and in major European markets are increasingly interested in these analyses.
You will be trained at Leicester University. You will then join my client based in Oxford as a Research Analyst in Network meta-analysis.
As the Research Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the new roll-out of network meta-analysis across new health technology assessment programmes. You will be expected to design and programme a library of statistical software examples, whilst taking full responsibility for the implementation of new technologies and strategies. You will document all findings and contribute to the writing and publication of research papers and reports.
