The successful candidate will be an Analyst working on reports within the automation industry; this is a very successful part of the company which has provided leading industry research for factory and process automation. This is an exciting and technically challenging area of the business.

This role is ideally suited to an Engineering, Electronics or Science graduate with an interest or experience in the automation industry. This is a commercial role which will allow you, after training, to manage a research project from start to finish.
You will be producing specialist market reports and your tasks will include:
- Drafting the report proposal
- Conducting extensive primary and secondary research
- Forecasting
- Report writing
- Marketing and sales; including design of marketing strategies and generation of sales opportunities.
You will need to have:
- A minimum 2:1 degree in an Engineering, Electronics or Science subject, with a desire to apply your technical knowledge or interest in a commercial environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly numerate and comfortable manipulating and presenting statistics in a variety of formats
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of producing spreadsheets, graphs and tables
- Open to worldwide travel
- Strong problem solving skills
- Enthusiasm, determination and an ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
- Experience working as an analyst, in market research, a commercial organisation or in the automation industry is desirable.
