A leading professional services firm with offices across the UK and the globe. They offer graduates employment opportunites across many business areas.

Audit provides audit assurance, advisory and transaction advisory services to clients. Our client's large audit practice in the UK covers a wide range of industry or market focused groups from financial services in large multinational corporations to smaller, owner-managed businesses.

Working within audit provides one of the finest and fastest forms of business education imaginable. Alongside studying for the ACACA qualification, trainees will work on a succession of audits throughout the year, ranging typically from one to six weeks in length, in different sectors and in different locations both in the UK and abroad. As such, trainees deal with clients who vary enormously in their operations, their controls, their size and structure and their commercial attitudes thus enabling trainees to gain a wide business knowledge.

In the early years within the firm, the majority of audit trainees work on audit assurance. This involves providing quarterly, six-monthly and annual audits for clients. An audit is a statutory requirement for all companies and is essentially an examination of their financial records to ensure that the accounts they produce are 'true and fair'. This involves understanding the client's business, its controls and accounting systems as well as individual transactions. Career progression is rapid within the audit division, as responsibility is given very early on.

In order to apply candidates must:

- Have a minimum of a 2.1 in any degree discipline
- A minimum of a B at G.C.S.E maths and a minimum of a C in G.C.S.E English
- 300 Ucas points (from your first three A levels)
- Excellent levels of communication - both written and oral
- Have an excellent level of attention to detail
- Be able to interview and start work through August, September and October.
