Our client is a large US manufacturing company who operate on a very global basis. They work in over 40 countries, and employ around 25,000 people- making them the world's leading metal packaging company. They manufacture a variety of products, including aerosol, and food and drink packaging.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the internal finance function of a large multi-national manufacturing company, taking your first step in your finance career and studying the CIMA qualification.
You will be working alongside the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, supporting them on a variety of projects relating to internal finance.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
-Assisting with the production of both monthly and weekly management accounts
-Helping put together the annual budget and forecasts
-Working with staff across all levels of the business, presenting them with accurate and up-to-date financial information
-Assisting the finance team in carrying out financial analysis when required
-Reviewing financial expenditure with budget holders
My client is ideally looking for someone who has either already begun their CIMA study, or who is part-qualified. Alternatively, if you have any exemptions from exams due to your degree course, and are willing to carry on with this qualification, this will also be considered.
This position is for an immediate start, so you must be able to commence employment straight away (notice periods acceptable).
You must also have:
-Achieved a 2:2 or above, or be on track for this grade if graduating this Summer
-Ideally studied Finance, Accounting, Maths, Economics, Business or similar
-Good A-level results, with 280 UCAS points or above
-A strong interest and passion in management accountancy
-Strong communication skills, and a bubbly personality
*Due to some travel between office sites (less than 10%), you are required to be in possession of a full UK driving licence*
