My client is a highly-respected, dynamic conference company based in central London.
This vacancy is open for those who can start in May or June. This role is paying £20-25k salary depending on experience + commission = OTE £30-35k.
You will be placed in the Account Management department which is responsible for generating sponsorship revenue by building strong client relationships and new business contacts.
The successful candidate will work on a number of conferences throughout the year, predominantly in a single sector.
Your key duties will be:
- Increasing revenue by following up sales leads and incoming enquiries
- Develop a strong understanding of the suppliers operating in a specific sector in order to research and build campaigns to prospect for new clients
- Prepare email blasts for this target market and follow up with telephone contact and face to face meetings where appropriate
- Identify, prioritise and qualify opportunities to ensure effective use of time
- Work proactively, introducing company services, generating new business leads, calling potential customers and prepare proposal documents to generate new business
- Handle inbound enquiries
- Develop a small portfolio of clients and build longer-term relationships
- Work closely with other teams across the company
- Ultimately you will be targeted on the revenue generated with year on year growth

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Educated to Degree standard; ideally have attained a 2.1 and ABB at A-level
- Minimum three months sales experience desirable
- Ambitious
- Problem solver
- Demonstrate an interest in business and have good commercial awareness
- Be naturally inquisitive
- Demonstrate the ability to build rapport
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
