Our client specialises in sophisticated insurance products that protect tour operators.

The position is likely to be of interest to an ambitious individual with a mind of stepping into a managerial role. The role primarily involves the management of the accounts team with all reporting responsibilities that come with it. However the position also carries some managerial responsibilities falling outside of the traditional accounts function that is likely to grow as the individual settles into their role.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Monthly reporting
- Be responsible for the compilation and revision of the monthly management reporting pack, ensuring all reports are done accurately and according to a set deadline.

Quarterly reporting
- Supervise the compilation of quarterly management accounts for the individual group companies.

Annual reporting
- Supervise the compilation of the annual accounts for the smaller group companies while being hands-on in the compilation of the annual accounts for the main operating and the holding companies.
- Perform the consolidation for the group.
- Prepare an annual budget for management approval.
- Prepare management approved schedules in support of the annual reinsurance renewals.

Managerial roles
- Manage the accounts department including all related staff matters.
- Serve as a point of contact for IT development issues to be authorised by management before being passed on to the computer developers.
- Be the liaison between management and the investment managers of the company.
