Job Title: Experienced Data Analyst

Our client is an online retailer with a focus on the sale of books to customers all over the world. They trade on over 20 online marketplaces worldwide, operating on sites such as Amazon, eBay and Play.com.

To continue with this story of growth and success, they require enterprising talent to help them thrive in the world of online retail.

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Data Analyst.

You will be providing analysis that will be used to help devise new business strategies and action plans. The projects you will be involved in will be varied and challenging, but will all involve using statistical analysis to improve business performance. One day you may be analysing pricing algorithms, the next studying customer responses to new product promotions in order to gauge their success and the next analysing online advertising expenditure.

Our client is expanding rapidly, so you will be exposed to a huge range of new ideas from senior management and be tasked with disseminating those ideas and ultimately providing the core data by which the company will decide on its growth for the short and medium term.

Essential skills for the role to include:

- At least two years experience in an analytical or statistical role.
- Educated to degree level, ideally within Economics, Statistics or Maths.
- Strong numerate skills.
- Ability to use statistical software for regression and correlation, e.g. Excel, SAS, SPSS.
