Internship in Operations Management

The Company

Emtelle is a world class provider of infrastructure solutions covering telecommunications, electricity and water industries. Our Hawick and Jedburgh factories, located in the Scottish Borders are centres of expertise with the group for duct and sub duct, optical cable, Air Blown Fibre and other extruded polymer products.

The Role

We are offering two internships in Operations Management. The internship will take you through all parts of our operational supply chain with special focus on production, purchase and logistics, but will also include SHEQ, RandD and stock management.

The posts are originally offered as a 12 month internship but the long term aim is for the successful candidates to go on to permanent employment as management trainees or assistant and eventually to occupy high level positions within the Company.

The Candidates

The successful candidates will have proven academic success in a related field and will preferably hold a first class honours degree. They will also have the ambition and drive to succeed in their chosen profession. Our aim is to be best in class and we are looking for people who have been the best in their class.
There are a number of educational backgrounds that can lead to the posts ranging from production engineering to business management.
