DryGro, an Oxford based company, is developing an innovative new technology that grows crops using 99% less water than conventional agriculture. We aim to grow food on arid desert land
We are looking for a proactive and driven individual who wants to make a positive impact on food security and water conservation issues to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist with projects and grant applications and support prototype design and development. They will manage the website and marketing materials, and research and analyse the markets for DryGro's products.
DryGro is a start-up in an early stage of its development with a small team. This means that the chosen intern will be able to play a major part in the day-to-day workings of the company. The role will be varied and include some administration tasks amongst other responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Website management and content production
- Assisting in grant application and report writing
- Assisting in the management of research and prototype development
- Researching and analysing market and commercial opportunities
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be driven and hard working
- Able to work well independently, but also contribute to the team
- Have great written and verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Be highly organised
- Have a passion for the environment and addressing the effects of climate change
- Have experience in the agriculturalhorticultural sector (desirable)
- Have a high level of IT proficiency (desirable)

We will be holding face-to-face interviews for people who can come to Oxford (we won't be covering travel costs to interview), and skype interviews for those who would rather call in, or live outside of Oxford.
