Our client is a division of a leading financial services organisation providing banking products and services to personal customers, small and medium businesses and multinational corporations.

Our client is looking for nine Analysts to perform analysis in support of the management of risk and rewards of product strategies. Also to define acquisition strategy to support business goals of profitable growth of the UK cards portfolio and the analytical support for credit policy design on UK Cards and UK Partnerships. The role is based in either Northamptonshire or London (with travel to Northamptonshire one day a week).

Main Accountabilities include:

- Perform data driven analysis to support the design and implementation of acquisition policies.
- Ensure effective tracking of acquisition strategies and their impact on the business. Should be able to recommend strategy changes based on MIS and tracking and be able to quantify the program impact in terms of key P and L.
- Participate in overall team activities including planning, resource allocation, training and other important team-building functions
- Clear, concise, effective communication of the credit risk projects and results is necessary in order to package the ideas in a logical, compelling and influential way, which will ensure success and explicit understanding.
-Working with appropriate partnership teams to ensure that credit risk deliverables are provided on time.

Requirements:

- Analytical ability - well developed analytic skills, evidenced through financial analysis and specific issue analysis. Preferably the individual has a clear understanding and meaningful experience in performing data analysis using a standard statistical package (SAS preferred). Excel skills and solid PowerPoint capabilities.
- Teamwork - Ability to work with and in cross-functional and virtual teams.
- Communication - effectively and concisely communicate key issues and ideas through correspondences and verbally without supervision
- Innovation - able to identify and deliver new ideas that addresses important business issues
- Commercial skills - Create and implement project task plans to accomplish business plan objectives. Understand business plan and ensure is driven for the most value add.
- Conceptual thinking - Strong strategic thinker with good intellect and ability to focus on the whole Global Credit risk office activities and their associated value
