About the Role...
We are looking for a trainee Paraplanner to join our team and provide a dynamic presence to the work place. We are looking for someone to work alongside our team to provide initiative and insight. The suitable candidate should have an interest in the financial practice and a keen drive to succeed.
We provide an unrivalled service to our clients and maintain a secure position as leaders in our field of financial planning. As such, we are looking for someone who will add to our growing business. We want someone who can take account of market conditions and legislative changes to ensure best service is offered. Therefore, we need someone who can uphold these responsibilities.
Paraplanning role...
• Progressive use of financial planning software.
• Obtaining life assurance quotes and preparing client illustrations.
• Liaising with bankers, solicitors and accountants.
• Drafting of client reports and recommendations.
• Being the first point of contact for a clients’ query.
• Processing and tracking new business.
Administration Requirements...
To fully meet the Paraplanner role, competency is required in all Practice Administration and to provide cross cover to others in the Practice. Whilst the Paraplanner role is by nature a skilled technical mandate, the end purpose is to ensure excellent advice and service is provided to the Practice’s clients. For this reason, the administration requirements carry considerable importance and are usually integral to the Paraplanner as a Client’s first point of contact. Areas include:
• Telephone
• Correspondence and file maintenance
• Strategic Alliance sourcing of requirements, eg SJP intranet.
• Flexibility and technical competency to implement tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this role.
• Using their Technical and Admin understanding to be alert and to address potential issues.
