Job Title: Bilingual Graduate Trainee Recruiter

My client is a start-up business created in April 2010, and is a specialist recruitment firm focused on delivering the most talented financial technology consultants to a wide range of clients across Europe, from their base in the city close to London Bridge.

The majority of their clients are major global management consultancies and business advisory firms, from the ?Big 4? accounting firms through to more niche European consultancies. They have clients in several major European countries including the UK, France, The Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Their candidates are all exceptionally gifted and sought-after people, and there is a high demand for their skills. They also can come from anywhere in Europe.

Due to a rapid rise in demand for their services, this company is looking to grow the recruitment team and have an immediate requirement.

In the beginning you will be reporting directly to the two company directors, who will be looking for your support in the search for the best talent for their clients. This is very much a telephone-based role, where you will contact leading technology experts and pitch positions to those who are suitable. You will be building relationships with technology professionals and looking to network to find new contacts. Once competent, you will get to work on warm accounts and evolve into a client-facing recruitment role.

The basic salary starts at £20k and can rise depending on sales experience. Due to their current levels of success the client has advised that the total earnings in year one should exceed £30k. The right candidate can expect to grow their career as the business continues to grow, into a managerial role in the medium term, followed by a directorship for the right calibre individual in the long term.

You will be a bright, passionate and highly credible candidate who is capable of building strategic relationships with a number of key European clients and candidates at the highest levels of seniority. You will need to have an affinity for sales and be target-orientated. The ability to be self-motivated as part of a small team is essential. Strong communication skills are paramount, as you will be dealing with senior-level decision makers in major global consultancies from the outset.
