OUR BUSINESS
Arcadia is the UK's largest privately owned fashion retailer with seven major high street brands: Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Topman and Wallis, along with our out-of-town fashion destination Outfit. It's not just about the UK high street; with transactional websites, social media and over 680 global locations, our presence is felt all over the world.
It takes exceptional people to keep so many different brands at the forefront of our rapidly changing industry. Our people demonstrate a perfect combination of strong commercial skills and real passion for the business. We will help you develop, and give you the chance to influence our future. It's not only our products but our people who drive our success. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. We make sure that we place them in the brand that is right for them and their personality.
THE ROLE
Our success hangs on our Buyers turning ideas into much wanted pieces. They can spot a new trend a mile away and work with suppliers to develop the right products for our brands. They know what's going to be popular and they negotiate good rates to ensure the best products are available for customers, both in-store and online.
With an eye for new trends in fashion and a good sense of customers want, our BAAs play a crucial part in bringing the latest trends to our brands.
You will work in partnership with Design and Merchandising to deliver the best product, so strong communication skills are a must. There's also a strong business element to this role, making it the perfect role for graduates with the right mix of creativity and commercial skill.
