We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, hands on assistant to support the founder and Chairman of the business. A positive can do attitude is essential and ability to adapt to changing situations is key.
About the role...
This is an exciting role for someone looking to start their career in a professional business environment. You will have the opportunity to see how a company operates from the top level, not only affording you a unique insight into company strategy and decision making but also the opportunity to benefit from a varied and interesting range of tasks and project work.
You will be based at our Newbury headquarters where our team of software engineers, rule writers and test engineers are based.
Key responsibilities include:
• Helping to create intuitive user interface designs for web based applications
• Working closely with the CTO on all of internal documentation
• Assisting the legal team with document processing
• Preparation of technical presentations
• Supporting the marketing team in creating web and digital business collateral
• Helping the Admin team as required
• Working on improving internal systems
Candidates should have the following attributes:
• Bachelor's Degree in product design or graphics discipline
• Strong creative skills in user interface design
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft office and ideally graphics design software
• Technical aptitude to use and assess new software
• Interest in new technologies, all things digital
• Good writing skills - excellent written English is critical.
• Must be able to work independently and be proactive in work, but also be a good team player as work demands
• Attentive to detail
• Analytical, design and problem solving skills
• Willing to learn
• A "safe pair of hands"!
