This company is the UK's leading specialist Business, Analytical and IT consultancy; they employ over 1500 people. Their portfolio of clients covers diverse areas such as National Security and the Public Sector, through to commercial industries such as Telecommunications, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals. Their services include business consulting, software and hardware development, technical consultancy and complex data analytics work.
Your role will be to carry out requirements management, process development and business change, across a number of infrastructure and business applications projects within the firm's information security programme.
You will be required to work closely with Technical Architects and Delivery Engineers to ensure the projects are delivered and the requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Working on medium, large and business critical projects - either as the sole BA, or through managing 1 or more other BAs.
- Supporting the Project Manager in identifying project stakeholders, defining the project scope and updating the Project Initiation Document accordingly.
- Outlining functional and non-functional requirements with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Conducting the change management process - including capturing change requirements and collecting and consolidating impact analyses.
- Supporting delivery of the overall project - including working with third-party outsourcing functions, outlining UAT plan and ensuring the delivery of the test strategy, working with the project manager to ensure deadlines are met, and developing and delivering training material where needed to relevant client parties.
Essential Skills:
Knowledge
- Experience of gathering and documenting business requirements for technical projects, including leading workshops for requirements and business process capture
- Evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle
- Experience of working across multiple simultaneous projects
- Experience of working directly with (technical and non-technical) end users and technical project teams
Skills
- Highly process aware, with a dedication to continuous improvement of project processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders up to C-level
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to lead workshops and training sessions
