Our client is a leading supplier of market research and consultancy to the global electronics industry, offering syndicated market studies, custom research and consultancy services with offices worldwide. Over the last ten years they have experienced a remarkable growth and have expanded into
most other sectors of the electronics industry, with dedicated analyst teams focussed on the factory automation, automotive, communications, computer, consumer, displays, financial and ID, LED and lighting, medical, power and energy, photovoltaic, Smart Grid and security markets.
Today they have over 125 Analysts spread across six locations; USA; Korea; China; Taiwan; Japan and the UK.
Candidates with at least 2 - 3 years experience within market research are required for this large highly regarded market research company.
The successful applicant will be responsible for market research within the areas of smart cards, point of sale devices, government-based ID schemes, payment and banking technologies and related semiconductor markets. A degree in Business or a numerate subject such as electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering is essential. Working closely with the Consultants you will support on custom research and become an 'industry expert'. You will contribute to all parts of the research process including desk research and company research, interviews, report writing and data analysis and interpretation. The role offers potential to progress through to a Consultant position and potential for international travel.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience in conducting interviews with senior industry professionals
-Commercial acumen
-Numerate and comfortable at manipulating and presenting data
