Our client is a leading consumer goods company, making and marketing products in the foods, home and personal care sectors on a global basis.


Our client is now looking for an experienced Mathematical Modeller with a PhD in a Physical Science, Mathematics of Statistics.

You will provide applied research in the mathematical modelling of biological systems for application in consumer safety risk assessment.

You will be building mathematical models and providing consultancy, advice and training on analysis and modelling. You will be interacting with other Modellers across the organisation in order to promote best practice.

Essential skills for the role to include:

- A PhD in a Physical Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
- ODE Modelling or Stochastic Modelling.
- Model fitting and parameter estimation approaches, preferably Bayesian.
- Model building in MATLAB, R, C++ or other relevant software.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
