Our client is a leading provider of software solutions to the asset management and investment management industries.
Job Description:
We need a bright, enthusiastic Support Analyst looking to progress within a dynamic software house delivering to the finance industry. Ideally you will have experience, and should have experience of working in a helpdesk or application support scenario preferably within a financial sector. Candidates would need to front the helpdesk, fielding calls and managing issue priority, solving problems and coordinating issue management.
You will work on complex applications and system problems, or any incident that is disrupting the application service that business users depend on. The job calls for both technical capability and business understanding. Crucially, applications are production, or live, issues and need immediate attention: an unflappable temperament is a must.
Salary up to £50k (depending on experience).
Essential Skills:
- Have demonstrable strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong business focus.
- Prior application support desk experience within the financial services or software house.
- Enterprise Java, SQL (Oracle or SQL Server), VB Script.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) would be a bonus.
