Graduate Position in Conference Development
£18K with bonus of around £24/25K in the first year
Euromoney Conferences is looking for a graduate to research, manage and develop our conference delegate database. Our conferences are about markets, economics, business and finance around the world - from Paris to Bangkok, from New York to Sydney. You will be involved from start to finish in assembling 1000s of CEOs, bankers, politicians and investors to attend our conferences.
What we need from you: - a fine eye for detail, a logical and organised approach allied with a natural interest in politics, economics, business and finance. Candidates should be familiar with manipulating data. Knowledge and experience of using databases would be an advantage; a good working knowledge of Excel is a requirement.

The role includes:
Targeting
- Liaise with conference team to establish target markets and potential audiences for 12-15 conferences a year
- Research and build a database of potential delegates for each conference
Administration and data management
- Manage the invitation process co-ordinating postal mail, email, fax, telesales to invite and secure targeted individuals
- Managing the database - keeping our data clean and up-to-date; uploading lists of new contacts
Event marketing
- Implement and manage a coordinated electronic marketing campaign for each conference
- Organise trade press advertising and barter agreements with media partners
- Identify and contact associations and other potential trade partners in order to build a broader universe of contacts in all markets.
Creating promotional material
- Work closely with our editorial team to produce promotional material including: adverts/ banners; generic promotional mail shots about the event; personalised invitations to prospective delegates
- Coordinate designers, printers and mailing houses
- Create a dedicated webpage for each conference
Forecasting
- Manage and control the costs for each campaign
Analysis and response
- Provide conference team with updates on status of campaign
- Monitor hit rates, click through, email, fax and postal, telesales success rates etc

Graduate Conference Producer - Euromoney Seminars
Starting salary £18K plus bonus
Euromoney is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual, intellectually bright and educated to a degree level, to join their team as a Conference Producer for their Financial and Metals Markets divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of events from conference conception to completion. Applicants will have strong commercial acumen; they will thrive in pressured environments, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail at all times. Applicants will have exceptional communication skills and be capable of multi-tasking and problem solving efficiently and creatively. All applicants must be at liberty to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Conference Producer – Coaltrans Energy Events
Euromoney Energy Events is seeking a graduate to train as a Conference Production Manager. Successful candidates will be able to research and structure commercial event programmes to deadlines and will be trained in the operation and management of international conferences.
We seek graduates who wish to take on the challenge of creating the highest quality events for professionals in the finance, energy and the ferrous and non-ferrous metal markets. The roles are not only intellectually stimulating but involve multiple opportunities to travel both during the research process as well as to run the events on the day. The ideal candidate will have an interest in finance, current affairs and the energy and commodity markets. An intelligent enquiring mind is essential, together with the ability to communicate at all levels, but we do not require specialist prior knowledge.

Interest does not necessarily mean expertise - if you are the right person that will come. You will have the opportunity to deal with business people, journalists, academics and politicians at a very early stage of your career; responsibility from the start; and travel to most points of the globe. In this position you will learn how to produce a conference agenda and you will gain specialist commercial knowledge.
Reporting to the Head of Conferences you will be responsible for researching to put together conference agendas, selecting and securing the right senior level speakers and identifying marketing opportunities for your event.
