Our Business
We publish specialist business publications in a broad range of sectors, including finance, energy, law, telecoms and commodities. We also run international business conferences, seminars and training courses, and have become a leading provider of online business information through our research, databases and information services. We currently sell over 300 different products in 180 countries.
The Company's revenue for the year to 30 September 2008 was £332.1m, with an operating profit exceeding £81 million. The Company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and a member of the FTSE-250 share index.

In April 2008 the Company was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category in recognition of the significant international reach of its business and the substantial growth it has achieved in overseas earnings.
History of the Company
The Company was founded in 1969 as a subsidiary of Associated Newspapers and is now part of Daily Mail & General Trust Group. Its first venture was the publication of Euromoney magazine which has remained at the core of the group. The Company has expanded greatly through a mixture of organic growth, joint ventures and acquisitions.
Organisation
The Company is organised as a collection of business groups, each divided into one or more profit centres. Our decentralized structure ensures that each business group remains focused on its defined area of expertise.
