The utility industries have a number of career paths open to graduates. Technical vacancies will involve the production, supply and transmission of oil, petrol, gas, water and electricity. There are opportunities for graduates from process, civil, control, electrical, mechanical and environmental engineering disciplines, but you will need to demonstrate a keen interest in actively extending your knowledge into engineering disciplines beyond your core subject.
